Transcendent

Written for 3-7 octave handbell choir, optional C-Flat 2 and 3-7 octaves of handchimes.  Level 4.  This original composition from Jason Krug will challenge the musicality of your ensemble and entrance your listeners. Starting from a single three-note motif, the piece builds and develops in intensity and complexity, transcending its simple opening to become bigger and grander. The mood shifts throughout, from hopeful and yearning to agitated and frantic, before returning once more to joy and celebration. A worthy challenge for any advanced choir.
