Acquaint Now Thyself with Him

This setting of two passages from the Book of Job begins with a brief, tranquil choral theme accompanied by flowing piano passages. The middle section rises in intensity as the music changes keys to reflect the delight of believers in God and the shining of God’s light upon them. Resuming the theme of the first section, the anthem concludes in lyrical tranquility. This anthem is suitable for general use as well as for Epiphany.
